does not mean that one used for sewing or injection. It is a thin needle
used for “ACUPUNCTURE”. Many needles prick
on your body. That sounds soul-stirring, right? But, why this ancient
treatment is still popular and has been trusted by lots of people?
Acupuncture
is the medthod of inserting very thins into the skin as a treatment for
various diseases or to relieve pain. This treatment was the first time
found in China over last 3,000 years ago and has become well-known in
USA since 1971.

Nowadays,
numerous traditional medicines throughout the world including acupuncture,
have been studied by medical experts with the support of World Health
Organization (WHO). Sinus problems, tonsillitis, common cold, asthma,
bronchitis, certain eye disorders, toothaches, hiccup, diarrhea, constipation,
gastrointestinal problems, headache, neurologic conditions, etc. , these
are the list of diseases and symptoms that WHO agree that it can effectively
be cured by acupuncture.
This
ancient treatment can be performed on basically any area of the body including
face, feet, and hand. The Acupuncture procedure begin with examination
by asking about the individual's health, looking individual's appearance
posture, listening breathing pattern and touching. Then, inserting needles
into skin at specific points for 10-30 minutes and take it out. This will
balance the movement of energy in the body.
However,
it is possible to be infected by unclean needles. Individual can know
if he/she have an infection by observing if there is signs including redness,
swelling, heat and tenderness at the needle piercing area. If yes, tell
the acupuncturist to get some advices.
