SARS

Nowadays, no one does not know SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), a respiratory illness that is spreading in Asia, North America and Europe and is recently the main cause of business declination in many countries especially business of tourism. Because of SARS, more than 50% of tourists have canceled their trips, particularly, in the areas with SARS. But in inevitable case, you have to go to an area with SARS, these are the guidelines you should always keep in mind:

1.Take health kit containing basic first aid and medical supplies such as thermometer, surgical mask and disposable gloves, alcohol-based hand rubs for hand hygiene, etc.

2.Inform yourself and others who travel with you about SARS.

3.See your health-care provider at least 4 to 6 weeks before travel to gets information you may need.

4.Identify in-country health-care resources in advance of your trip.

5.While you are in area with SARS, wash your hand frequently and avoid close contact with large numbers of people as much as possible.

6.If you think you have SARS, tell the health-care provider about your symptoms prior to going to the office or emergency room so arrangements can be made, if necessary, to prevent transmission to others in the health-care setting.

How do we know if we have SARS?

If you have these following symptoms, the best way is to go to see doctor as soon as possible because you may be one who already have SARS.

1. Have a fever greater than 38.0?C or 100.4?F

2. Have a headache and feel discomfort with body ache

3. Have a dry cough

4. Have trouble breathing

he two last symptoms may be obvious after 2 to 7 days you have a fever.

However, having SARS or not, the main thing you should do is to take care of your health. Have no time, this is not a condition; there are many easy ways that do not make you loss time. Having healthy foods and always doing the exercise at least two or three times a week are quite enough. But it will get better if you try to taketime for yourself, do something that makes you feel good.
