You can find me in all oceans of the world. I look pretty weird because of my strange shape and colors. My body contains small sense organs that respond to light and gravity. Many enjoy eating me while the rest is afraid of me. Who am I?

While
many people try to avoid areas where jellyfish is sighted, millions of
Asian consider it is a delicacy that they have to taste once in life.
In Asia, besides luxury food, jellyfish is also a traditional food in
celebrating occasions such as wedding day. Someone said “No oriental wedding
or formal banquet is complete without jellyfish cucumber salad.”
Jellyfish is
also a necessary ingredient in many other menus such as Shabu
Shabu, Sukiyaki, Sushi and Tom Yum. In Korea, jellyfish has been promoted
as a weight-loss product. In China, people call it “Music to the
teeth”. This is the feeling when biting its flesh. Shredded jellyfish
strips are always served in cold cucumber salads with green onions. The
flavor comes from the sauces and condiments that it is soaked in and served
with. In fact, there is no taste of its own but the texture which has
been likened to a “protein dorito” makes it be valuable.
Some researchers found
that jellyfish is a healthy food. It is an excellent source of fat, mineral
and collagen that is the fibrous protein constituent of skin, cartilage,
bone, and other connective tissue. In addition, jellyfish is useful to
lower high blood pressure and cures bronchitis, arthritis, gout and causes
remission in tumors.
Not only for man, jellyfish
is also good for animals. For years ago, Russian scientists discovered
that farm animal, chickens and pigs that were fed jellyfish from Black
Sea had greatly accelerated growth.
However, jellyfish kill
more people than White Shark. It use its tentacles to sting the prey.
Although its tentacles are too weak to hurt people, you will be suffocate
if you are stung in the neck. Box jellyfish is one of the most
dangerous jellyfish. In Australia, they kill up to 65 people
a year. When a jellyfish stings someone, he/she will die within 3 minutes.
For first aid, douse
or spray your wound with vinegar. Try to pluck off any visible tentacles
carefully. Don't use your fingers, towel is recommended. For more information,
