Gingko is one of the oldest living tree species.
It has been since around 150-200 million years. The Chinese is the first explorer and have used it for centuries. There are many kinds of this plant in China ,especially at Tai lake in Dongting moutain (over 44 kinds).

 
 
   

 

 

That's why you may hear someone call gingko “King of Dongting Moutain”.

Not only in China, gingko is now widely known and used throughout the world due to its excellent medical and nutritional properties as follow:
